How Tatte Began
Tatte was born from a simple idea: that a neighborhood bakery could be a place of true belonging. Founded in Boston by a team of devoted bakers and chefs, we set out to create food that felt handmade, honest, and full of heart.
"We wanted every guest to feel like they were a regular the moment they walked through the door."
From our first location on Washington Street to the beloved tatte bakery community we've grown, our commitment has never wavered: source the finest ingredients, bake everything fresh, and serve each dish with genuine care.
Today, Tatte continues to evolve — adding new flavors, expanding our menu, and welcoming new faces — while staying true to the warmth and craft that started it all.
Our Mission & Core Values
Everything we do at Tatte flows from a deep commitment to craft, community, and genuine hospitality.
Fresh & Seasonal
We source local, seasonal ingredients and bake everything fresh daily — no shortcuts, no compromises.
Community First
Tatte is a gathering place. We build relationships with our neighbors and create a space where everyone belongs.
Uncompromising Quality
From raw ingredients to the final presentation, we hold every item to the same high standard we set on day one.
Made with Heart
Behind every pastry and plate is a team that genuinely loves what they do. That passion shows in every bite.
Our Mission
To nourish every person who walks through our doors — with food that is crafted with intention, served with warmth, and made to be shared. We believe the tatte bakery experience should feel like home, wherever you are.
