How Tatte Began

Tatte was born from a simple idea: that a neighborhood bakery could be a place of true belonging. Founded in Boston by a team of devoted bakers and chefs, we set out to create food that felt handmade, honest, and full of heart.

"We wanted every guest to feel like they were a regular the moment they walked through the door."

From our first location on Washington Street to the beloved tatte bakery community we've grown, our commitment has never wavered: source the finest ingredients, bake everything fresh, and serve each dish with genuine care.

Today, Tatte continues to evolve — adding new flavors, expanding our menu, and welcoming new faces — while staying true to the warmth and craft that started it all.
